Moulin Rouge Activation

Story

Moulin Rouge! The Musical teamed up with Destination NSW for an unforgettable theatrical experience on Sydney Harbour. Together with our talented production team, we created a custom live activation that allowed visitors a deep dive into the musical's themes of Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Love.

Audience

In collaboration with partner brands and local businesses, we created an immersive pop-up for visitors to experience.
MAC Cosmetics added a touch of glamour to get you camera-ready for the giant love swing. Meanwhile, the Montemarte-style artist precinct offered sip and paint classes, designer croissants, and personalised caricatures.
Every activity was cleverly designed to celebrate both Sydney and Moulin Rouge! The Musical, with a dash of digital engagement thrown in for good measure.

Conversation

We created a incredibly successful social campaign and competition to promote and amplify the Visit Sydney messaging which was based on meaningful activation and touch points. Attendance metrics were surpassed and the feedback we received from guests was fantastic and was amplified both locally and internationally to potential tourist markets.
